Preaching/Campus Associate and Adult Ministries Pastor : Fill-time

Heritage Church, a large, (2500+) multi-campus Wesleyan church located in Rock Island, Illinois, and Bettendorf, Iowa, is seeking an energetic leader to oversee the Adult Ministry Department and to share the preaching load with the senior pastor.

Summer Youth Pastor : Part-Time

Lisbon Wesleyan Church, located in Lisbon, NY (upstate), is looking for someone to serve as the Youth Pastor for 10 weeks this summer.

We have a youth group attendance that varies from 10 — 20 in our weekly meetings (a few more for events). The teens are fun loving and just like to hang out together. We have a youth band that leads the worship each week and our youth room is fully equipped with a multimedia projector, high speed wireless Internet, and sound. We take advantage of this each week in worship to better communicate the message of God's Word. We want this to be a group that allows teens to minister and not to just be ministered to.

We are located in a rural dairy farming community. The church averages around 100 in attendance and is a very loving group. We have a contemporary and a blended worship service on Sunday mornings. This is our second year hiring a summer youth pastor and we look forward to meeting who God will lead our way. We will work with a student to help them apply this for college credit.

Responsibilities include: Leading the weekly youth meeting, teaching the youth Sunday school class, planning at least two activities per month, providing outreach opportunities, participating in Sunday services and midweek meeting. The church will provide housing and $100 per week. This is a part-time position and we understand the Youth Pastor may seek additional employment for the summer.

Must be evangelistic, having a passion for the lost and a heart to reach out beyond the walls of the church. Must be able to motivate the congregation to engage in significant outreach both in our community and to the world.
