Young Adults Needed for Missions Project

Apr. 28, 2009

The Wesleyan Church has a short-term missions opportunity for college students and young adults who love to travel and have a heart to see Jesus change lives around the world.

Global Partners, the missions arm of the denomination, is holding its annual EuroCamp, August 3-18, 2009, in Brno, Czech Republic. The first English camp in Czech was held in 1997 in this largely atheistic Eastern European country.

Camp counselors between the ages of 18-35 are needed to lead and assist camp activities such as Bible studies, crafts, sports, music, American traditions, and teaching English. Campers include Czech nationals, many of whom are teenagers who have never heard about a relationship with Jesus.

The application deadline has been extended to May 15. This is the last chance for interested individuals to apply. Contact David Scott at scottd@wesleyan.org or 317.774.7982 for more information. You can also visit http://www.wesleyan.org/gp/eurocamp to learn more.
