Pastors of Largest Wesleyan Churches Meet at Headquarters
Jul. 6, 2009
On April 28, 2009, the Board of General Superintendents convened a special group of pastors for a Large Church Pastor Conversation at The Wesleyan Church World Headquarters. This group included eighteen of the twenty-one senior pastors of Wesleyan churches that averaged over 1,000 in worship last year.
The all-day meeting focused on listening to the pastors and asking them to speak into the life and leadership of the Church. The Board of General Superintendents said, "They brought a unique and dynamic perspective to this ongoing process that is intended to result in action that will help our Church in its vision of fulfilling the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment."
