Oct. 21, 2009

Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer dropped nine spots to No. 18 in the latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Top-25 Coaches' Poll.

The fall in the ranking coincides with a 1-0 loss to Marian University (IN) on Tuesday evening. Unbeaten Marian is one of two teams remaining in the NAIA without a loss.

Indiana Wesleyan is 11-2-1 on the season and is currently tied with Marian atop the Mid-Central College Conference with a 5-1-0 conference record.

Lindsey Wilson College (KY), the only other team to defeat Indiana Wesleyan this season, remains No. 1 in the ranking. Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) and Lee University (Tenn.) are tied for second.

The Wildcats next play on Wednesday, October 21, at 4 p.m., as Indiana Wesleyan travels to play Huntington University (IN).
