General Treasurer/CFO
Our Mission
The Office of the General Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer exists to serve Christ and the Church as it allocates and manages resources.
We believe the most unbelievable, awesome blessing in life is to have a personal relationship with God our Creator, through Christ our Redeemer. Our aim is to put him first in all we do and to seek his wisdom, guidance and blessing. Out of the abundance of his grace to us flows our desire to serve both him and you. Our work is a form of worship.
Our calling leads us to serve The Wesleyan Church by stewarding financial resources, providing personnel services and facilities management to the General Church and to serve as a partner to resource the mission of various denominational institutions including districts and local churches.
We welcome your comments, observations and ideas as we partner together in transforming lives, churches and communities through the hope and holiness of Jesus Christ.
Financial Accountability
The Wesleyan Church demonstrates its commitment to faithful stewardship, financial accountability and transparency through its membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. We annually provide documentation and reports that demonstrate our commitment to their standards of membership. The ECFA seal on our website pages is a testimony to our commitment to transparency.
We annually engage an independent accounting firm to perform an audit in accordance with standards generally accepted in the United States. These audited financial statements are prepared for the General Board of The Wesleyan Church in accordance with The Wesleyan Discipline. Inquiries about these financial statements may be directed to CFO@wesleyan.org.
