Reflecting on the past year, we collected the top 10 social media posts from The Wesleyan Church:

1. Sri Lanka: Call to Prayer

On Easter Sunday morning, the Sri Lankan church was attacked. The Church asked us to pray that in the midst of darkness, Christ would shine.

“Let’s join together and pray that the church will respond to this aggression with the love and peace of Christ. In this dark time, pray that the light of Christ will shine through His Church.”

4. Border Stories

Our Border Stories series included Pastor Maribel and the team at El Elyon Church who just can’t stop welcoming the immigrants who continue to arrive by bus in their community.

6. Sola Scriptura

On the weekends, we post some of our favorite scripture. James’ reminder of the responsibilities of the church body was meaningful in August:

7. Everywhere to Everywhere

In May, the International Conference of The Wesleyan Church met in Barbados and we were reminded that God calls people from Everywhere to Everywhere.

8. Sanctity of Life

In light of the Reproductive Health Act passed in the state of New York, The Wesleyan Church encouraged its leaders and laypersons to read its Position Statement on the Sanctity of Life.

The Wesleyan Church firmly believes in the sanctity of life.
