Rev. Densel Ray Ball, II, age 58, died on April 27, 2017, as the result of a tragic car accident. Rev. Ball served as senior pastor of Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Kansas City, Mo. He was also a mortgage loan officer at Mobank in Overland Park, Kans.
He placed his faith in Christ at an early age and felt called to ministry. Rev. Ball attended Mountain State Christian School, God’s Bible School and College and Nazarene Theological Seminary.
Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Rev. Ball was still an enthusiastic supporter of the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
Survivors include his wife, Michele; two children, Jacqueline (Jackie) and Densell, III (Ty); his parents, Densel, II, and Betty; and one brother, Leslie. Rev. Ball was passionate about serving God and others, and he was loved by many. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 2, at Westside Family Church (8500 Woodsonia Drive, Lenexa, KS 66227) at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will take place 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. that same day.
