For the first time in Global Partners’ 127-year history, the entire missionary tribe gathered together at one time in one place. From May 30-June 4, 2016, over 340 missionaries, national leaders, and family members from all over the world converged on Houghton College in western New York for Amplifying Mission Summit. The four-fold purpose of the event was to connect, inspire, clarify, and equip so that all may be even more effective in serving. Here’s what missionaries had to say about the experience:
“Being at The Summit has allowed me to put names to faces—to hear “live” stories of what God is doing and to pray for and with my missionary family. Awesome!”
“Connecting with old friends and meeting new ones has been a huge highlight. I learn best from other peoples’ stories. This week I’ve heard many stories of what God is doing around the world. I’m now inspired and feel equipped to go back to the mission with enthusiasm!”
“It has been so wonderful to be introduced to all the missionaries that are all over the world and to be inspired as we start on our journey. We feel as if we have a family full of wisdom and love that we can rely on.”
