Global Partners missionaries and Haitian nationals are partnering together to minister holistically on the island of La Gonave.
The Village Health Initiative has a three-fold model: to teach evangelism, nutrition, and water treatment on the island of 120,000 inhabitants. One critical need in preventing disease is motivating families to build family latrines. This has been an incredible success.
This is a great opportunity to reach both the physical and spiritual needs in the community, and more than 3,000 have made first-time commitment to Christ through this initiative.
