Meet Katie
Reverend Katie is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church with 15 years of experience in church planting and multiplication. Prior to stepping into full-time ministry, she worked in the medical field for 18 years (11 years as a Registered Nurse). She also coaches church planters and revitalizers nationally. Katie is passionate about equipping, empowering, and mobilizing everyday people, leaders, and pastors to live in God’s design and call on their life, effectively multiplying Jesus’ Kingdom movement. Her greatest source of joy is spending time with her husband, Randy, of 17 years, and their two boys, Simon and Levi.
Carolyn Little
Administrative Assistant for Discipleship
Meet Carolyn
Carolyn Little serves as the Administrative Assistant to Rev. Katie Lance, Director of Discipleship. She has worked previously in the TWC Headquarters in GTO, Human Resources and CMAD. Carolyn and her late husband, Thomas, were church planters. Carolyn enjoys leading small groups at church and has extensive experience and knowledge in coaching and leadership. Carolyn has a bachelors in ministry, and is passionate about seeing the lives of men, women, and families changed for the glory of God. Carolyn resides in Lansing, Michigan, and enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her six children, eight grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

Meet Josh
Josh Lavender is the Worship Director at Trinity Wesleyan Church in Indianapolis, where he lives with his wife Megan. He studied worship at The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, and has served as teaching faculty at Indiana Wesleyan University, Southern Wesleyan University, and Kingswood University. Josh also serves the New Room Conference community as they sow for a great awakening.
Meet Megan
Megan Harris enjoys serving as the part-time Catalyst for Church Revitalization in Church Multiplication and Discipleship at The Wesleyan Church. She is currently serving as the full-time pastor of Shelbyville Wesleyan Church in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Prior to that she served as an assistant pastor for 14 years in the Western New York District of the Wesleyan Church. She has served as the WNY District Children’s Ministry Director, a community food pantry coordinator, a holiday assistance program coordinator for the needy, and most recently as the Interim Director of Discipleship at TWC. The main focus of Megan’s ministry is discipling both children and adults, helping them to solidify, grow and share their relationship with God. Outreach is a vital piece of her ministry and she and her church strategically work to minister to their community. Megan recently married her husband Charles Harris in 2022. They have seven grown children and one granddaughter. They enjoy ministering together, traveling, and spending time with family.
Rev. Ryan Sims

Meet Ryan
Ryan Sims is a native of Rochester NY. Not only is he the youngest of four, he is also a twin. Ryan and his wife, Felecia, have been married for over 20 years. They are the proud parents of two amazing children, their son Ashtien and daughter Kyndle . Ryan received his BA in ministry, graduating Magna Cum Laude at Carolina Christian College, and an MBA at Carolina University. In September 2019, Ryan and a group of faithful followers launched C4 Church of the Carolinas, in which he is the lead pastor. C4 church strives to unite people of all races and cultures resulting in being a multi-ethnic, multicultural, and multi-generational church. In the fall of 2020 C4 and First Wesleyan Church of High Point started the beginning stages of merging two churches. C4 a new multiethnic baby church and First Wesleyan older flagship church in its prime embarked to become the Lead Pastor of “One Church” where he is currently serving. Their mission and slogan are to be “One that the world may believe.” One of Ryan’s favorite scriptures is Isaiah 6:8 “I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Ryan has a heart to transform lives and serve his community while reaching the lost.
Meet Johel
Pastor Johel Rodriguez is from San José, Costa Rica. He and his wife have 3 beautiful children, Carlos, Faith and Daniela. Johel has a heart for church planting, that’s what brought him to the United States. He has more than 20 years of experience planting churches and helping other church planters and multipliers with coaching, mentoring, discipleship and sharing many tools for the growth of churches.
As mentioned before, he has planted churches in different states like Indiana, South Carolina and North Carolina.
At this time Johel is working with the District that his church is part of (Avivamiento Latino Church-NC East) as the director of the Hispanic ministries to help the pastors and planters to also have a vision of discipleship and multiplication.
El pastor Johel Rodríguez es originario de San José, Costa Rica. Él y su esposa tienen 3 hermosos hijos, Carlos, Faith y Daniela. Johel tiene un corazón para plantar iglesias, eso fue lo que lo trajo a los Estados Unidos. Él tiene más de 20 años plantando Iglesias y ayudando a otros plantadores y multiplicadores con coaching, mentoría, discipulados y muchas herramientas para el crecimiento de iglesias.
Como se ha mencionado anteriormente ha plantado Iglesias en varios estados como Indiana, Carolina del sur y Carolina del norte.
En este momento, está trabajando con el distrito al cual pertenece su iglesia (avivamiento latino church) como director del ministerio hispano con el fin de unir a todos los pastores latinos y plantadores de modo que tengan una visión de Discipulado y Multiplicación.
Corey Seales
CMAD Digital Administrator
Meet Corey
Corey wears many hats in ministry. As the Digital Administrator for the CMAD Department of The Wesleyan Church, he supports the department’s global outreach by enhancing their digital presence and communication strategies. Alongside this role, Corey serves as the Connections Pastor at Fusion Community Church, where he passionately fosters genuine connections within the congregation. When not in his office you can find Corey driving a school bus for his local public school district. Corey married his wife Erin in 2017. Together they partner raising their two children Samson and Eliana. Corey is passionate about using technology to reach people far from God. He enjoys staying up to date on the newest and best technology to be used as a tool for ministry.
