Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. (Rev. 19:8)
QUIET AND SHY, Mandy lived most of her childhood in the shadow of others. Feeling separated and alone, she retreated into herself, filled with questions about her life. Days turned into years, and soon she found herself in college pursuing a degree that seemed interesting enough, but not fulfilling. The personal questions continued to weigh heavy upon her mind, leaving her confused and detached. During this time, she received a letter from one of the few friends she had during her teen years. While God had remained prominent in her life, she always felt forgotten by Him as well. However, her friend wrote that in the middle of the night, she woke up feeling a need to write. What she shared melted Mandy’s heart, revealing new affirmation about areas of gifting and strengths in her life. Filled with newfound passion and purpose, joy filled her heart with anticipation and vision.
We were all created to release God’s heart on the earth. Extraordinarily unique and worthwhile to Jesus, our lives can demonstrate heaven’s DNA as our true nature and abilities grow. One measurement of experienced abundant life reflects our understanding of our “real” lives from God’s perspective.
Daily we choose which wardrobe of acts we will wear amid the journey of life. Heaven’s attire comes with growing purity and empowerment to change the world around us through God’s shared goodness.
Expect God’s power to flow through His goodness that you share with others.
