The year of the 14th North American General Conference of The Wesleyan Church has arrived.
General Conference 2020 (GC20) will commence May 31 at 1:30 p.m. (CDT) in St. Louis, Missouri, with pre-conference memorial-related information sessions followed by an Unleashed livestream event at 3:30 p.m.
Wesleyans are encouraged to participate, either onsite in St. Louis or online with the livestream broadcasts, beginning May 31, Pentecost Sunday, and continuing until the conference ends. An important focus will be Wesleyans joining together as one Church in prayer for the upcoming quadrennium and offering praises for God’s faithfulness in the last.
Monday and Tuesday will consist of two business sessions each day, in which memorials will be voted upon and leaders will be elected to serve The Wesleyan Church for the next quadrennium. Evenings will encompass worship and special receptions. The conference ends Wednesday with communion.
No registration is required to attend GC20 other than for lodging in one of four hotels with rooms blocked by The Wesleyan Church for conference guests. Lodging registration opens Saturday, February 8.
