The Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) has recently given final approval to Bold Beginnings International Church in Ellenwood, Ga., to open an Immigration Connection, Inc., office.
The process has been long, requiring much work during the training, shadowing, and application process. The development gives Bold Beginning International Church the opportunity to provide immigrants a much-needed legal service regarding their documentation. Bold Beginnings is the fourth Wesleyan church to be established as an official Immigrant Connection office. Preceding it were The Bridge in Logansport, Ind., Olathe Wesleyan Church, in Olathe, Kans., and City Life in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Rev. Dan and Anita Bosworth serve as co-pastors of BBIC. Both are accredited BIA representatives.
“We thank the General Superintendent’s office at The Wesleyan Church headquarters for the assistance along the way,” said the couple. “We also thank the South Coastal District for giving toward our training phase and several district churches that helped with start-up costs (12Stone Church, Tuscaloosa First Wesleyan Church, and West Town Community Church).
