Rev. Ernest Martin, Jr., of Nashville, Ind., died Sunday, June 25, due to injuries sustained from a two-car accident. He was 36 years old.
Rev. Martin served as pastor of Gnaw Bone Wesleyan Church in Nashville in the Indiana South District. Survivors include his wife, Linda; two daughters, Abigail and Lydia; his unborn son, Ernest Reuben Martin III, due in November; parents, Ernest Sr. and Clara Martin; and one sister, Michelle Ownby. He was preceded in death by his children, Noah, Nathaniel, and Star Martin.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 30, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, Ind., with Rev. Ralph Wheeler and the Rev. Howard Russell officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville.
