Late this summer, The Wesleyan Church announced the launch of its new Resource Center–created to serve the local church. The vision of the Resource Center is to create a platform to provide local churches the ability to equip each other.
Resource Center now hosts over 100 resources, each with the ability to equip local churches in a tangible way. As we have entered into this Advent season, this vision comes to life as one church strengthens another. Rev. Emily Hines, spiritual formation director at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church in Marion, Indiana, provided Resource Center a devotion guide which has been used in places as far as Mountain View Church in Aumsville, Oregon. New Life Wesleyan Church in La Plata, Maryland, submitted a complete sermon series kit including graphics and sermon notes, which is being implemented at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in North Gower, Ontario.
The sharing doesn’t stop there. The worship team from All Shores Wesleyan Church in Spring Lake, Michigan, has created an album of original worship songs they have gifted to others. Shady Grove Wesleyan Church has shared Life Track, their introductory small group discipleship kit for leaders and participants. And the collection is growing every day.
The Wesleyan Church invites you to dive into the Resource Center and discover real, tangible resources that can have a lasting impact in your local church. And, if you have something that’s working, consider sharing. In doing so, you join a platform of leaders seeking to equip one another to better share the message of hope and holiness.
