Rev. Paul Meeks passed away January 16, 2016. He was a retired, ordained minister in the Shenandoah District. Rev. Meeks and his late wife, Darlene, served with Wesleyan World Missions (now Global Partners) in the Philippines for 22 years and as missionaries-at-large for 9 years. They also pastored in Illinois, East Michigan, and Indiana North districts. He pastored in the Shenandoah District in between retirements.
His wife preceded him in death in 2010. Survivors include three sons, one daughter, and 11 grandchildren. A memorial service at College Wesleyan Church in Marion, Ind., is planned for May or June.
