A new partnership…

We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of Wesleyan Pension Fund (WPF) has voted unanimously to approve an administrative services agreement for Servant Solutions to assist us with portions of the operations of the WPF retirement plan. This means that we now have substantially upgraded our ability to provide a heightened level of plan services to you, our members.

Our partner in this, Servant Solutions, is the church pension plan for the Church of God (Anderson, IN) and they have been providing exemplary pension services to their members for many decades. We share a common faith and heritage with them and know that this is a great partnership for us.

Our current Wesleyan Pension Fund employees will be joining the Servant Solutions team, and they will be supported by the entire Servant Solutions team going forward. When you call WPF, you will be talking to the same people that you have been talking to for years and others will be serving you as they learn and become familiar with our plan.

Our website will remain substantially the same, and the information on it will only change as updates are needed. Your account at Principal will stay the same with no changes to access or investment selections. The Wesleyan Pension Fund will continue to exist and be overseen by the WPF Board of Directors as it has in the past.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have. We are excited about this new partnership and look forward to continuing to serve your pension needs with excellence in the future.

    • WPF is engaging with Servant Solutions to bring enhanced services and added value to WPF members over time.
    • A primary goal of this partnership is to ensure minimal impact on Wesleyan Pension Fund (WPF) members. The WPF name, employees, and board representation will remain unchanged. Both organizations share theological alignment as members of the Holiness Movement and already utilize the same recordkeeper in Principal Financial. The presidents of both organizations also share mutual respect and trust, having established a longstanding professional relationship.
  1. How will this partnership benefit members of Servant Solutions and the Wesleyan Pension Fund?
    • Servant Solutions will manage all administrative aspects (employees, budget, efficiencies, etc.) of the Wesleyan Pension Fund, providing comprehensive support and continuity in services.
  1. What unique strengths does each organization bring to this collaboration?
    • Servant Solutions offers a holistic approach to retirement planning and will extend its expertise in financial planning and education to WPF members as our partnership progresses. Additionally, WPF brings potential opportunities for greater economies of scale, which could lead to lower fees for all members in the future.
  1. How will Servant Solutions and WPF teams collaborate on member services, and what should members know about this cooperation?
    • The daily administration and member services for both organizations will remain distinct. As capacity allows, we will take a gradual, thoughtfully tiered approach to cooperation in member operations, ensuring that any future integration is carefully considered and supportive of both organizations’ service standards.
    • We aim to reassure WPF members that no expertise is lost in this transition, and that WPF will be positioned for leading-edge retirement services in the future.
    • No changes to policies, support channels, or points of contact are anticipated.
  1. How will this partnership enhance the financial security, retirement planning, or overall experience for our shared members?
    • By combining the operational strengths of both organizations, the partnership positions members for more robust financial security and improved retirement planning services over time.
