More than 160 attended the five-day event inaugurating Wesleyan ministry in Bolivia.
Discussion of Memorials (resolutions) was spirited but loving. The courtesy and wisdom of those asking questions and making comments were beautiful to see. Important business for the kingdom was done.
The 2016 General Conference approved the creation of the “Ibero-America Established Regional Conference of The Wesleyan Church,” strengthening 19 countries in Latin America as a regional conference.
Some important actions were passed during the 129th session of the General Board of The Wesleyan Church, which met at the denominational headquarters in Fishers, Indiana.
Ibero-American Area is moving from a “mission field” to a “mission force.” It is committed to send Latino missionaries to the Fotizo People to work in partnership with Global Partners.
